SO now let’s know the about the characters:
1)Carl Fredricksen – An old man,former balloon salesman. He is a widowed-78-year-old. He may look like he is cold but he is really compassionate and kind. He used to be shy when he was a kid. He has many strange ideas and when he loves someone he loves her all of his heart. He also likes to travel and adventure.
2)Ellie Fredricksen – An old woman that has her dreams in her mind. She loves adventure and likes to travel. She was a tomboy when she was young. She is an active and always think positive. She was in love with Carl Fredricksen whom she met as a kid and married him until her death because of the disease.
3) Russell – A young scout boy who wants to help Carl Fredricksen. So that he could get an assistant badge that will show that he has done good things to people.And he is also very friendly, brave and caring.
4) Dug – A dog that is very playful and friendly. He can also speaks English by a special collar that translates his thoughts to his speaking. He is one of the dogs that assists Charles F. Muntz to capture Kevin but later he become friends with Kevin and help Kevin, Carl and Russell to escape from Muntz.
5) Kevin – A colorful snipe lives in a jungle in South America. Kevin is a girl and she loves chocolate very much. She is very tall, big and powerful. She also runs very fast.
6) Charles F. Muntz – An old explorer. He wants to capture a snipe and return to North America.He has a lot of dogs to assist him in capturing the bird. He likes to create fantastic things.
STORY:
When Carl Fredricksen was young he fell in love with TOM BOY girl whose name is Ellie. Then they married. They built and decorated their house together. They want to have a baby but Ellie is unable to have a baby and she is kind of sad about that. So when they are old they live only by themselves in the house. Carl is a former balloon salesman while Ellie is a zookeeper. Both Carl and Ellie want to travel to South America to Paradise Falls. They try to collect money but there always be a situation to make them spend those money and prevent them from going to Paradise Falls. As time passes by, Ellie and Carl get older. Carl finally gets the tickets to South America for two of them and he wants to surprise Ellie. But it was too late, Ellie was sick and has to stay in the hospital. She finally dies and never get the tickets that Carl bought for her.
From that time, Carl lives by himself in the same house. Things has changed around his neighborhood. The entrepreneur came and buy all the houses around his land except Carl’s house. Carl loves this house because it is a place for him and Ellie. So, he won’t sell it to the entrepreneur. By the way, everybody try to persuade him to sell the house but he insists on keeping it. There’s a letter from Shader Oaks Retirement Village sent to him very often but he doesn’t care. He continues to live in that house until one day, he had a fight with a postman and hit the postman with his cane. By that situation, he has to go to the court and spend a lot of money on it. One day, Russell, a boy scout who seeks for an old people to assist on, knock on his door. He wants to help Carl to get his badge. Carl didn’t care. Finally he decides to pumps a large numbers of balloons and try to fly away to North America. He was surprise to see Russell on his house too. Carl and Russell travel together. When they go to North America ,they find a bird. The snipe bird that is very famous and rare ,they make friend her. They also make friends with a dog named “Dug”. Dug is very fantastic because he has a collar that transport his thoughts to his speaking which is make from Muntz who is his master .But Charles F. Muntz who is dug owner and many other dogs that he give them that special collar want to capture Kelvin.So he has to should that he wil help his owner or whose he make friends with.And he should Carl,Russell and Kelvin. Carl, Russell, Dug and Kevin the bird have to fight with Charles F. Muntz to help Kevin from being captured. They fight eachother in a big plane that belongs to Muntz. Finally they won and help Kevin to return to the forest to take care of her babies.But sadly the house also fly away when they fight with Muntz.And then, Carl’s house fall down and place right by the Paradise Falls like Ellie wanted it to be.
Carl took Russell and Dug home. Russell got badges that is Carl’s belt which he put on his coat when they go to travel together and Carl also give that belt to Russell and Russell become a senior scout.And Dug is the leader of Muntz dogs because the dogs vote that they want Dug to be their leader because Dug is a good dog .Carl, Russell and Dug eat ice-cream together and he also has a big plane which he get when he fight with Muntz because that plane was Muntz’s plane with him so he can travel and adventure by himself.
WHY I LIKE THIS MOVIE… I like this movie because it very touching ,it tell about adventure that we have to fight together because if we fight together we will win.This movie also tell me about love that if we really love somebody we will not forget them even they already dead and we can do everything that they want for them,we also kew about explore that want to capture the bird that will become extinct,they also tell us to do good thing like what Russell do.And it tell that we have to stand beside them all the time even when they sad or in a bad situation like what Carl,Russell and Dug do when Kelvin is capture. And many other things that make me cry about the relationship.
AND THE THINGS THAT MAKE THIS STORY BECOME POPULAR IS BECAUSE THIS STORY HAVE MANY FANTASTIC IMAGINATION AND MANY OTHER IDEA THAT NOBODY HAS THINK ABOUT IT LIKE THE HOUSE THAT HAS MANY BALLONS TO FLY.
