GMO Food

1.GMO foods are created because this will make the price of the product become lower and have greater benefit (durability or nutritional value or both) . The GM develpers wanted their products to be accepted by producers and have concentrated on innovations that bring direct benefit to farmers (and the food industry generally).GM food will also improve crop protection. The GM crops increase the product through the introduction of resistance against plant diseases caused by insects or viruses or through increased tolerance towards herbicides.

2.I think that GMO food is both good and bad idea. I think that it is good for some reasons because GMO food will be bigger than normal and also can produce in large amount. This can feed all people in the country and reduce the problem of malnutrition. GMO food will resistance to weeds, pets and disease.It can also decrease the price of the product and make the economic of the city become better. This product  also rich with nutrition and taste good. It is bad because making the product or food in the lab by using chemical can make the product become dangerous and led to many diseases when we eat it alot. So we should eat GMO food in the right amount.

3. I am agree with the statement: “GMO rice is necessary to feed a growing Thai population”. I am agree with it because GMO rice is the rice that is make up in the lab so the scientists can put some chemical that make the product or rice growing faster with a bigger size. The GMO rice would also rich with nutrition. So GMO rice is necessary to feed the growing of Thai population because if we don’t use GMO rice to feed Thai people, normal product won’t go fast and more enough to feed all Thai people that are increasing. Having  GMO rice will also help Thai economy to become better because GMO rice will be less price than normal rice. This can make almost Thai people to have food because they can affort or buy it. If Thailand don’t have GMO rice, we can be sure that not all people will be feed because normal food will grow very slow and not all of it can be eated because some of it would be destroyed by weeds, pets or diseases. So it is very necessary to have GMO rice in order to feed all Thai population that are increasing.
